The presence of case-workers is of vital importance for any attempt to help children in need. Childlife employs a small team of case workers who work around the clock in Mae Sai and the surrounding regions.

The case-workers untertake constant first-hand research to understand every child's situation and the reasons why they are on the street. They build close trusting relationships with each child and in turn they are able to support the children when help is required and ensure their safety when dangerous situations occur.
