In order to gain a deep understanding of the overall political and social situation in the region, Childlife set up it's own a permanent research-team.

The situaion in the boarder region of Thailand, Myanmar and Laos is complex and requires a multi-dimentional approach in it's analysis. Being to be able to adjust and develop the strategies of Childlife's work requires Childlife to be both closely in touch with all people involved and and have a strong knowledge of the many levels of political and social processes.
